The one I have undercounts my steps. If I walk 50 steps, it may register 17. Maybe if I march around like I'm in the band on the football field, it will count every step :)
I used it for both walking and for training to run a half marathon. I'd do my 8 mile runs and it would end up registering a 2 or 3 thousand steps, so it's pretty worthless.
