Purchased this yamax unit from amazon for my wife after getting myself an 18 dollar one that had no name, sorry setup instructions and we just didn't like it. Being for the wife I decided to spend a little more money than mine was. (You know how that is guys.) Received in good shape in the time frame given and we both think it's a great pedometer. It has a name unlike my 18 dollar one, it is made in Japan not China, it is small, slim, has big bright numbers, good setup instructions for setting the clock, stride, distance,and etc. and the wife loves it and I do to. I want to trade units with her but she won't do that so guess I'll have to just buy another one. Yes, I do recommend this Yamax EX-510. spend the money and get a good one.
